synopsis

the ko-one is a wireless, 35g op1 8k. the shape differs mainly on the sides, the op1 8k is very flat vs the ko-one is more of a locked in shape with a curve and taper. if you fingertip or claw this shape will pretty much universally feel great. battery is not the greatest on 8k but as expected I guess, I found it has fantastic battery life without 20k/8k on though. the dongle has a screen and functioning buttons that let you change modes, slightly useful. the experience is definitely top quality, it came with a great variety of skates too and the grips are actually not bad which is surprising. 35g is infact perfect weight for instant acceleration while maintaining stability. highly recommend this mouse, is quite small though.

sidenote

this is potentially whatever but I believe the small extra thumb curvature the ko-one has on its side changes a lot, after swapping between the op1 8k and this it's very noticeable to me- it's essentially giving more surface area on the angle for my thumb to grip which increases stability and control when pulling/pushing the mouse. if your thumb is a driving factor in how you aim then keep that in mind while buying a mouse, that area of mice is very important to ones gripping style.
