I've always wanted this monitor ever since it dropped, plenty of good reviews and overall brand hype with their monitors.

Coming from a 480hz OLED the experience was underwhelming to say the least. The TN panel looks muddy and not defined at all, the black eq is very good, but besides that there's not much else to say. It is very smooth but you need a beefy enough computer to even run 600 FPS in any game, even games like cs2 and valorant.

I'm not saying its a bad monitor but for the price you could get the tandom OLED from asus for about $100 more and get a 540hz 1440p OLED. The "competitive-ness" features you get from it doesn't translate with it. Me personally I've hit radiant with both but couldn't notice the difference with it at all. The only time you should even consider this monitor is if you haven't already used a high refresh OLED.

As a side note I had a couple of friends who are top 500 in valorant/r6 use it and for the most part they could hardly tell the difference, compared to OLED where its night and day.
