A Short-term Review of the Pulsar X2 Crazylight Mini

I have returned to review more peripherals that I have.
This time, I've decided to review the X2 Crazylight that I got recently, and the short version is that I really like it, I just think there are some things that could be better for my preferences. First of all, my unit has very good QC, especially compared to some other mice that I've tried out and someone on my team's pulsar mice, so I'm thankful for that. For reference, I use a claw grip that I sometimes switch to fingertip in some really rare circumstances, and I never use palm or anything of the sort. Also, I'm not going to touch on sensor performance or anything like that, as there's a certain point where without major differences it's just a numbers game I feel.
While I've never tried a back-hump mouse previously, I saw a good deal for this and thought I would give it a try, and I've been enjoying it a lot so far. For my grip, the back hump just felt very intuitive for me to use and very comfortable, even on the day I got the mouse in. I honestly thought I would try it and then go back to the viper shape I was used to, but it legitimately took one day for me to decide I wanted to continue using this mouse, and I'm glad I made that decision. Aiming just feels much better than with the larger mid-hump mice I was used to, and the back-hump makes my palm's contact feel very locked in without me have to mess with it in any way. I think the most telling part of my use of this mouse is the fact that I made the swap right before my collegiate season began, and I actually started to play better going into the season once I made the swap. The stock skates feel nice and smooth, so I have no complaints there. The web software has served me well, and it is much preferred to app-based software for me. Also, the switches sound and feel good, nice and spammable. I don't have any issues with play on the M1 or M2, and the clicks feel very nice to me, and same goes for the side buttons.
Now that I'm done gushing about how much I liked the mouse, there are some caveats that make me not give the X2 five stars, and they all have to do with minor things about the shape. For one, I think I would prefer narrower sides, or sides that slope in a little where my fingers make contact, like with a ying or OP1 (which I hope to get my hands on soon), just because that's the one area I preferred with my older mice. Other than that, I really have no complaints with the mouse, as I haven't run into any major issues with it, and it's just felt so much more natural than the viper shape for my grip style and hand size.
For me, this mouse is a solid 4.5/5, just narrowly missing a 5 because I feel that the shape could be slightly better for my grip style, and I want to experiment a bit with other mice in the future. That said, this mouse has felt amazing for the month I've owned it and been using it, with no issues to speak of, and I feel it will continue to serve me well until I get other mice in, and it will probably be the standard I hold everything else to in the future. With that said, I hope everyone who reads this enjoyed the review, and any feedback would be appreciated!
