Kova is the portfolio platform for aimers. You get a public profile at kova.page/your-username that collects your peripherals, game settings, KovaaK’s stats and benchmark ranks, videos, playlists, showcase items, socials, and the aimgroups you play for.

Aimgroups get their own page too, with a roster, an application form, and their own portfolio content.

Discord is the only sign-in method, there is no email and password option. Nearly everyone in aim training already has a Discord account, and it gives us a reliable identity to hang everything else off, including aimgroup membership and the Discord bot, without us ever storing a password.

Yes. Every feature is free, and there are no paid tiers.

Not on your own, because your Discord account is your Kova identity. If you lost access to your Discord account or need to move your profile to a new one, ask an admin. They can grant a one-time relink, which puts a “Change account” link on the Discord row in the Profile tab of your dashboard. Your profile, aimgroups, and content all follow you across.

Open the KovaaK’s tab in your dashboard and connect your Steam account. We match it to your KovaaK’s profile, which pulls in your scores, recent personal bests, playtime, and benchmark ranks automatically. Nothing is written back to KovaaK’s, we only read.

This is the most common one. Benchmark ranks come from EVXL, whose rank data is a snapshot that refreshes roughly every 10 days. If you have just started playing a benchmark, or you have only recently improved, you can read as unranked here for up to about two weeks while their snapshot catches up. The KovaaK’s tab of your dashboard shows when it last updated and when the next one is due. Nothing is broken and there is nothing to fix on your end, the rank appears on its own.

Everywhere there is room, all of them. Where only one badge fits, such as the rank icon on a Discord personal-best post, we use the benchmark you featured in the KovaaK’s tab of your dashboard. If the scenario is not in your featured benchmark at all, we pick the ladder you have climbed the furthest up, measured as a share of that ladder’s height, so a top rank in a smaller ladder is not hidden behind a bottom rank in a bigger one.

Scores come from KovaaK’s own leaderboards and run history, and a very fresh run can take a little while to be ingested on their side. If a run of yours is missing after a few hours, it is usually because it was not played in challenge mode, which is what posts a score to the leaderboard.

Anyone can request one from the aimgroups page. Requests are reviewed by an admin, and once approved you get the aimgroup page and the aimgroup dashboard, where you can manage the roster, invite members, and set up an application form.

A new aimgroup stays unlisted until it has 5 active members (or is verified). Unlisted means it is left out of the aimgroups directory, out of search, and off your members’ profiles, but it is not private: your aimgroup page and your application form both still work over a direct link. That is on purpose, so you can recruit your way past the threshold. The aimgroup page shows you how many more members you need.

Verified is admin-curated and reserved for established aim-training organisations. It is not something you apply for, and verified aimgroups skip the member threshold above.

Please don’t message or ping Kova team members asking to be verified, for your profile or your aimgroup. Verification is handed out by us when it applies, and asking for it doesn’t speed anything up.

For a linked aimgroup it can announce new personal bests and benchmark rank-ups, post applications, member joins and leaves, giveaways, new content, and tournament results. It keeps a live leaderboard message up to date, can hand out Discord roles that track your members’ benchmark ranks and aimgroup roles, and adds the /pb, /leaderboard, /profile and /apply slash commands.

Every one of those is opt-in per channel, so the bot only posts what you switch on.

Aimgroup owners get a “Discord” tab in the aimgroup dashboard. Link your server from there, then pick which channel each kind of announcement goes to. One server per aimgroup.

Partly. /pb and /profile can be added to your own Discord account rather than to a server, which lets you use them anywhere, including in DMs. /leaderboard and /apply are aimgroup features and need a linked server.
