what are the best skates + sleeve for glass

Regarding arm sleeves - there’s already a similar thread on the forum, so I’ll just drop the link here: https://kova.page/forum/looking-for-a-reliable-arm-sleeve-for-competitive-fps-games-fa2377e1 okay? Hope no one minds.

About mouse skates - here’s what I’ve personally used and what people recommended to me:

1. BT.L (TBTL) DIY White PTFE v2 / BT.L (TBTL) DIY Red PTFE v2

2. Magic Ice Plus

3. Any X-Raypad:

From slowest to fastest:

3.1 Titanium U9 / U9 Air / U9 Ultra (orange) - the slowest and most control-oriented. Best durability + solid stopping power. Honestly the best choice for glass if you care about longevity. Air version is quieter.

3.2 Obsidian Pro / Obsidian Pro Air (gray / UHMW-PE)

3.3 Obsidian / Obsidian Air / Obsidian Ultra (red / purple Air)

3.4 Jade Air / Jade Ultra (green Air / white)

3.5 Jade (white / translucent) — the fastest pure PTFE in X-Raypad’s lineup. Super low friction. Feels really zippy on glass, but wears out the quickest out of all of these.

There are probably a bunch of other solid skates out there — hope other people drop their recommendations too :3

@shwamper has an extensive list of mouse skates he's used on glass pads that are tiered, there's also a skate description section in the google document if you want to read more into how each skate feels, some people have a problem with his rankings because he has a preference towards a certain feel, but at least the descriptions are a good indication as to how each skate might perform for you.
